Toothpicks work much better in the "e's" than a srewdriver. Almost zero chance of scratching

That's odd, I'm in NY in an area with a similar bevy of radio signals. I tested it out in my driveway after I installed it and the reception sounded the same to me. But I primarily listen to either satellite or my iPod, so I haven't continually left it on to give it a true test. We are getting another 5-8 inches of snow here in ny tonight so maybe I need to give it a true test and drive out to sunny California. #jealousashellofyourweather!

Greenman. What wheels are those! Are they steel or alloy? They look good.

Thanks! They are level 8 trackers. And they are aluminum. Good thing about them is back spacing. I can run a 33/12.5 tire without needing any modifications

I really need to take some photos... Anyhow

With the help of beer and a couple friends I got the atlas front and rear bumper put on.... If the instal would have been easier, I would highly recommend it. But I do love it, even with all the blood sweat and beer I put into it, no rattling what so ever. After that ordeal, put some 33 inch cooper discover maxx and a 2.5 rubicon express. Then put the soft top on and put the hard top in storage. Took the light bar off because of the wind. Then the hardest part, putting on stickers. Pita. I've had all these project thru out the winter but never had the time to put it on, plus I can't stand the cold. Don't mind being in combat, but being cold, forget it. Well Next up, roof rack, and add lockers and regear... The mph went way down. No biggy.

Purchased a Teraflex hinge and carrier used from another jeeper who had a 37 on it. One of the studs was stripped and I wanted it in the 35 location so I got some new studs pressed the old ones out and pressed the new ones in. I noticed the powder coat was chipping and there was some rust here and there so I sandblasted both pieces and repowder coated them in a textured black more like the hinge.

Thanks, sandblasting was a pain. I thought it would take like 2 hrs, but it was really about 5hrs. The powder coating had better adhesion in some areas than others and then all the nooks and crannies didn't help.

Hopefully I wont have any more rusting issues. I have found that when we sandblasting parts before powder coating the paint has much better adhesion which seems logical. I am not an expert my field is electronics.
