So I don't mean to sound rude, and it's awesome you have a new jeep, but did the AEV package replace the bumpers and hood that you paid the factory extra for? Or is the AEV hood the same as the Hard Rock?

Not rude to ask, as I asked the same question of the dealership. And he called his AEV rep while I was sitting there. I learned that the bumpers and the hood on the Hard Rock are made by AEV for Jeep. The JK351 package does not replace rear bumper or the hood. And since they are not replaced, the value of the hood and rear bumper removed from the price of the JK350 package.

The front bumper is replaced, but I am good with that. I like it better anyway.

How noisy is it? Looks like raised corners at the front. I may be seeing it wrong

I ended up making my own bumps out of solid tube aluminum in the front and used Teraflex extensions in the rear.

Finally got my Hi-Lift mount on my ACE rear bumper. Waiting on a neoprene boot for it. Also waiting on my fire extinguisher holder. I picked up some cheap LED utility lights on clearance at Tractor Supply this afternoon. Going to mount them under my tail lights for some extra light out back.

Dave Harriton, owner of AEV, is on record saying the Hard Rock hood and bumpers are not made by AEV.

Either way, you ended up with a very cool Jeep. 😃

Ha ha! Good one! I suppose Winter Chill is likely both a little white and a little blue at the same time.
