I'm hoping they cool it down a little bit at least. It gets to be 120° here in Phoenix in the summer.

I have that same bumper and I've been looking at grills like that. Where did you get it and how much?

I love the blackout look of as much as possible, but never painting anything besides the basement walls I'm taking as many notes as possible. Did you just use 1 coat of the flat spray or do any prep/prime work like chapman on his fender wells?

This will my first warm weather mod (Chicago), although I did have the t tops off for a ride this past weekend, 1 week old jku black Sahara.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I had to break out the plug in drill to install mine, and broke a drill bit...

As far as prep work I just scuffed it up with 220 grit sandpaper and then wiped it down with paint thinner. Taped off real good and then probably put five very light coats of Krylon flat black on it.

Why not just do it without the metal plate???
I was afraid that I might screw it up drilling the holes and it would not be lined up. This way I could always start over.

No worries. To each their own. I like it... for now anyways. I had thought about using plexiglass and spraying it flat. I may go that route or just spray this black.

Rubi rails, stubby antenna, day star dash panel, smittybilt MOLLE panel, and removal of the spare tire carrier. Will be going with EVO offroad dring plugs, and bumper fascia. Going to put my tire in the "trunk(if it fits) and strap it down till I get the money for the EVO tire carrier.

What did you guys use to plug the excess holes on your tailgate? I don't just wanna put the bolts back in, or get a tramp stamp.
