I did almost the exact same thing, there are more expensive, prettier, over engineered ways but this is the simplest. Simpler is often better IMHO

Went rock crawling last weekend ...

... and suffered some carnage so this weekend I installed a Synergy adjustable track bar (thanks to Northridge for the quick shipping) so the axle could be recentered. The Sahara steps brackets were mangled so the steps came off for good. Also removed the silver piece on the rear bumper and removed all decals. Then I did the 5 tire rotation making my rock rashed wheel the spare. After all that she got a bath and took her top off

Next up are rock sliders, narrowed it down to LoD and PSC... decisions, decisions

Broke down either due to clever marketing or just needing something to work and bought ArmorAll trim restorer. Brought my bumpers back to life. Biggest problem being that I needed to then do the fenders, door handles, mirrors... Gave it a bath after and the water just beaded up and rolled off. Time will tell how it holds up just thought I'd give it a first glance review.

Well, my wonderful wife broke down and bought me the winch I wanted, Smittybilt X2O 10 Gen 2. I spent today fabricating a mounting plate. I got the fab work done and tested the winch, works perfect. Tomorrow I will take it all apart and paint it all up and get it back together.

Sent from somewhere I really shouldn't be!

Was either Wednesday or Thursday, but ordered a set of Poison Spyder Crusher corners and steel Crusher front & rear flares. Tomorrow I'm ordering a new hood to replace my hail damaged AEV and a new Trek Top NX since my current one now has holes due to hail damage. Then off to the body shop for paint and repairs.

New Trek Top and Poison Spyder tramp stamp. Also got some more grab handles and Daystar hood latch rubber to help with the hood flutter.

Spent Friday night and Saturday morning putting on my teraflex 2.5" lift, and bilstein 5100 shocks, could not be happier with it. The right is fantastic, not flighty and drives straight as an arrow without even touching the steering wheel. Had stock springs and 1.75" spacers before and gained 2" fender clearance from the teraflex springs. Love it. Next up: winch, another set of KC lights, aev procal, and a spare to match haha.

Default Installed TeraFlex tire carrier and RockRidge flush taillights

Actually installed month or so ago but added resistors to slow the blinking to normal speed, before the resistors the blinkers were on crack they went so fast..Click image for larger version
