I was looking at the RR A pillar pod, but I got concerned when I was saw a fitment issue on line ( but who's to say the guy put it in right to begin with). I think I'm going to route my CB to the source as well. Might as well, I bought the damned thing!

I mounted these switches to my a pillar without any type of pod.....there was enough room behind it for wiring...

I built a mirror mount for a $6 mirror from auto zone. Used some stainless round stock I had laying around, a 7/16 bolt and some welding skills. Ground it down to look good. About 1 1/2 hours. I wanted it tucked in tight to the body and to follow the lines. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Click image for larger version

The rugged ridge a pillar pod fits perfectly if you get the right year, the day star pillar only fit for up to 2010. The RR looks factory
