I just took off my black fenders to paint match them. Took only about 15 minutes to take all 4 off. Easier than I thought! Lift, 37's, etc., etc.. next week!

What lights did you use and how did you wire them?

The left one fell off! I'm not sure how! But I got to my friends house and it was just gone. So I just took off the right one and bought some poison spyder fenders👌!

Received and installed the Sony ICF-5900 short wave radio. I manufactured a bracket shelf (that utilises the first hardtop screw) out of an old Ikea bracket I had left over. It was sprayed, covered in hard foam to cut out vibration and the hardtop behind it lined with two layers of thin foam (think mouse mat material). I then embedded 4 lots of 3M Dual Lock into that foam backing which corresponded perfectly to 4 more pads placed on the back of the radio. This holds the radio in place beautifully without the need for straps.

Just waiting for the Yaesu FT-817ND to arrive today which will hopefully fit beneath the above radio and utilise the same shelf bracket. The mobile HAM shack will then be complete!!
