I have been doing the typical winter months maintenance. Got all of my rock lights put on and led fog lights. Spider web shade, AEV front license plate bracket, and cover for the soft top when it folded back. The replacement parts have not been so fun. Replacing bushings and crawler joints. The rear lowers were completely shot. I am finding that the more stuff I put on my jeep the harder it is to get to stuff. Like for the lowers I had to remove the EVO control arm skid with the sway bar link and the shock. And a bit of advice, don't let the shock expand all the way out when removed. That was fun. I still need to do my upper arms and noticed my rock rails won't allow me to pull the bolt all the way out so now those have to come off. Never ending.

The ones in the above pic are BDF, but Black Diamond Fab was purchased by Rigid Industries in 2012 and they no longer offer the grille inserts.
Northridge 4X4 used to carry BDF products and had those grille inserts for sale, but now they have a product that looks similar in design except that they are missing the bolts/screws around each insert and it says it's a Northridge product.

Current Northridge part and link to page.

Had a job interview today. (keep in mind I was in a bad winter storm today) Got there parked, and like all good jeepers as I walked away I looked back at my rig, but I noticed that my 50" led was "somewhat" on. I walked back knowing I still had 15min to get in the building hoping maybe it was just my eyes playing tricks, nope only the drivers side was dimly lit. Ahh I'm wearing a suit out in a snow storm, I can't work on it now Wtf to I switched it on and off and it just kept doing it so I left it and went in to my interview, when I came out the light bar was COMPLETELY lit! Still can't do nothing cuz I'm wearing a suit and I have another interview tomorrow and it's my only suit. I turned it on and off and low and behold it turned off but on my way home it kept turning itself on, which I could get pulled over for considering ppl were pulling over for me because of a strobing light bar on top of my rig lol made for a fast ride home tho! Got changed popped the hood and pulled the ground off the relay and the light was still lit. Plugged it back in and unplugged the power to the bar and of course it shut off then. I knew it had to be the relay, luckily I had an extra. I popped it on and was good as new! But man what timing like Cmon it does this when my hands were tied lol

Torn meniscus kept me down last 3weeks but no longer! One of my Christmas presents finally installed....Recon 10500 w/ 100ft Warn synthetic rope and Factor 55 thimble
Played in the snow on Tuesday in Atlanta. Great thing was I didn't get stuck anywhere thanks to my JKU! Then on Sunday I enjoyed some nice warm weather, took the top off and decided to finish my little interior light project with LED strips. Put a couple in the foot wells (12" on driver side, 12" and a 6" on the passenger side) and a 6" strips above the HVAC knobs to light up the center console area. I have some LED bolts on the way and those will go on the soundbar to get a little better light to the front seats. Also plan to put some to light up the back as well.
