Hi guys,

Only had my first jeep 3 months ,and my first trip is to Outback Australia. So the first mod done to my jeep is a 68l aux fuel tank ( fitting on Monday ), to cover the distance between stops .

2nd mod is a 2" OME lift so the vehicle can deal with all the corrugations out there .

Love this JEEP

I finally get to add something to this thread! I installed a Drawtite receiver hitch, Mastercraft grab handles, and my Huskyliner floor mats!

Had an Aussie locker installed in my D30 today. Purchased from Northridge and installed by Texas Truck Works. Mud holes and rock obstacles everywhere are cowering in fear.

Default Weekend mods

Replaced the rear stock springs from the ProComp Phase 1 kit with the Phase 2 springs. Much better ride. The Phase 1 kit only comes with a spacer for the rear stocks and bottoms out frequently on bumps. The ride is much better now with the full Phase Two springs. It cost me just as much to buy the jack stands and high hydraulic lift as it would have cost to have the local 4x4 store to install. $150.

Installation took 1.5 hours. Probably would have taken .75 hours if I had the right tools in the first place.

Default Airaid install

Put an Airaid CAI in the Jeep this weekend. Love the throaty sound on acceleration. Not getting better mpg, but definitely notice the improved horsepower at higher speeds. I still have to change my 3.73 to 5.13 and I the CAI helps maintain higher speeds with the small bump in hp.
