After watching the hood flap all the time on my '08 JKUX, I knew I wanted new hood latches on my new '13 JKR. Some buddies at work had the Drake latches, and loved 'me, so I figured I'd go there first. I love 'em!
They were a little tough to install, but I think that would be true, regardless whose design I was using. My mitts are just a little large to get in some of those nooks and crannies. A couple of borked knuckles later though, I had the new latches installed and adjusted.
Way cool!

Of course, those cables are yet another place to catch a small limb, and drag it around the hood! :-)
Installed Pavement Ends front bumper with Spyder fogs.
And I replaced my slightly corroded and worn spark plugs, wires and pcv.

Cut a piece of 3/4" exterior plywood to fit. Covered it with the appropriate color exterior colored carpet and bolted it to the tube using eye bolts. That will give me tie down locations if I want to use it for carrying things.
