Today Rangleme and I decided to take on the Mikey1989 fender chop.... here are a few picks from the chop day!
I plan on spraying the exposed Greystone under the fenders on my JK a flat black. Also, there are a few spots on the lining that I used zip ties to snug the liner up. I will be switching those for black zip ties in the future.
Rangleme's Rig
FYI Rangleme went with a wider width on her front fenders compared to mine
***A small suggestion to those of you who are planning on doing a similar fender chop. On the metal support bracket underneath the fender that has the bolt in it. The pic below shows how we salvaged a portion of the skeleton of the fender to reduce any flapping or movement due to freeway speeds.
