What do you get when you combine a dremel tool, a trashcan, and a Uniden CB?
This!
Cut the bottom out:
Drill a hole in the rear for coax and power cables:
Finished product (after a lot of work with a dremel to carve out certain parts of the inside/bottom):
This should end any questions some of you might have had if/when you saw "VDP Trashcan" on my buildsheet... lol
I still have a little work to do to make it more easily removable so that I can fold down my backseats (I think I'm going to add hot-plugs to the power cable, remove the mounting bracket, and then use black memory foam to hold the CB in place).
Overall, it was a fun little project, though, and I'm finally ready to do some club rides.
Am I the first person to ever mount their CB in a trashcan? lol

Boring week... Quick wash, replaced the windshield wipers, oil change and tire rotation. I am however starting my shopping list. Im due to take off for my deployment soon and I'm looking forward to doing a little something to the Jeep when I get back.
