Paint to match with plasti coat. Take off the front grill and almost nothing to tape or overspray.

Hell, paint it the color of your jeep. Then send pics and let everyone vote.

Can always repaint it black?

finaly washed my silver JK...it was looking the color or copper, and seafoamed the crankcase and vacuum hose after cleaning my throttle body. the idle dropped a full 400rpm! then i removed the tear bumper and am modding my shifter bezel with a dremmel.

Yes. Cut the metal. But... Measure correctly!!! The bolts that hold bumper to frame are in the line of cutting. Measure well and you'll be fine.
