So in order to avoid getting a ticket in the lovely state of Maryland, the bf and I rigged up a drivers side mirror using one of his old motorcycle mirrors. Not pretty but at least I'm legal.

This is just temporary until I get something else.

Default Painted A/C vents and GPS frame.....

I know the A/C vents have been done before, but I took the customizing a step further....took apart my GARMIN GPS and painted the frame to match my DOZER.

This is really nice... Where do you fix your GPS in the Jeep?

Right now, I use the windshield suction mount..placed near the rearview mirror. In my previous JK, I had the plastic "base" secured below the radio, kept the GPS out of the sun. I plan to get another plastic base, and mount it somewhere out of the direct sun light. I use it on battery, I don't like having the charger while in use...cable dangling and all.

im w/ ya ! i HATE wires hangin' all over the dash etc.

as a suggestion & something ive done....i either cut the cig/lighter plug end off the gps cord or buy one w/ bare wire ends (garmin sells 'em this way for "hard wiring")....i then HIDE & ROUTE the wire behind the dash, up the A-Pillar and inside the header to the center of the windshield near the mirror...all that needs to be available / exposed is enough wire to connect to the radar detector, gps etc....

when the device isnt in the vehicle or i need to remove it for security / theft prevention, i just tuck the wire up behind the visor or into the gap between windshield header trim.
