Do you cut off Any of the old shock mounts for better ground clearance?

I might have to add these to my wish list. Is the lip that sticks out a little right under the top there for when you install the carrier? How was the nutsert install? I've been wanting to run some rigids out the back. I like how you mounted yours. Not sure if I want to go with duallys d2s or the 10in bar. Which ones are you using and how's the output?

First one hurts the worst but I've already hacked up and welded so there's no going back at this point. Basically became a tool in my mind rather than a vehicle

Thanks! Yup you just drill straight into the sides of the rig and insert nutserts. The Duallys are now my dedicated reverse lights.

That lip is for a CB antenna the brackets install just below it so you can still get to the bottom. The nutsert install was good i have a tool for them which makes them cake, lining everything up is the biggest pain in the ass part. Lots and lots of clamps and man muscle. And I figured it was wasted space below the tailgate now so I broke out the drill and ran a 5/16ths hole through the drivers side, the passenger already had holes in the frame which worked out perfect. I'm using Dually floods and they're perfect, I really don't like the beam pattern on the diffused it falls off really quick while the floods go out a lot farther in light output.

I let my wife drive my Jeep from Ct to Boston since her mini-van is in the shop. I was cracking up imagining her getting waved at time after time after time....
