What was done to your JK this week?
I haven't looked through all 2000+ pages of this thread... but I was curious... has anyone sprayed their fenders with bedliner? It seems that taking the front grill off (among other things), removing the Jeep logo, then spraying it with bedliner seems to be the fad... I was curious if anyone has done it to their fenders (stock or otherwise). I'm not familiar with the bedliner spray other than what i was told... and I seem to understand whatever it goes on becomes very durable.
Has been a busy couple of weeks and hit the wallet pretty hard. Replaced my lower control arm and traction control arm bolts last night, drove to work this morning and it was a noticeable difference in that the suspension feels tighter( best way I can describe it). Installed front and rear bumpers from JcrOffroad, had them coated with Linex first after I did the dry fit to make sure everything would work out the way I wanted. Love that Linex but man does it cost. The rear tire carrier has two Rotopax cans mounted to it, seems like the perfect place for them. The stock rock rails were showing wear and a little corrosion so I took them off and had them coated with Linex while they were doing the bumpers. My final addition was to install a Warn Powerplant HD winch and replaced the wire cable with a 3/8 x 100' synthetic line. I want to add a lift, that's just gonna have to wait.
Installed Teraflex 2.5 coil lift
Now I'm really getting somewhere. Rides great, no wobble, no issues, alignment made a minor toe in correction.
I got one thing that I didn't expect: I got the trackbar bracket that goes on the axl on the lower left (from the back) instead of the one you have to drill in on the upper right, whats the deal with that? I though the directions manual stated my kit would have the smaller bracket that bolts on the trackbar upper joint, not the one that bolts onto the axle with the u-bolt (I got the 2.5 coil lift w/ shock extensions).
