[QUOTE=feholder;2862118]Finished up weekend with my son getting everything ready for delivery of Tuffy security shelf and mounting brackets by installing some hasps/locks on a couple of .30 cal ammo cans we plan to bolt onto the side shelves prior to installation for extra storage with security. Still waiting on fuel door and Hothead Headliner....then on to the bumpers!
I definitely wanna see those ammo cans installed. Great Idea!!!

Tuffy Security Deck
Installed my Tuffy Security Deck (btw thanks to ArmyCop for the great pics on the install)! Before installation added four anchor point locations and bolted two .30 cal ammo cans with padlocks on side storage areas.
Didn't bother with the $89 matting that was on the net, son went to Lowe's and got heavy-duty industrial outdoor matting for 30 bucks (still have half the roll left)....
Pictured on top of the deck is a wheelchair stroller strapped to the anchor points that should give you an idea of the additional space we gained. It's awesome, strong and well worth the build!

Here ya go - first one shows the under-mount I used to secure to the shelf unit (two bolts each side) and the second shows the completed install - worked really well! Just make sure the boxes are mounted to the outside / rear of the shelves if you're looking at them from the passenger seat rearwards. There isn't enough room for the seat to latch / unlatch if mounted forward. I suppose you could mount the opening to face the rear but I opted to be able to have access from the passenger section.
