They don't make the greatest step, but the little lady uses them as one. As far as install went after paint was dry it took me and the Misses about an hour forty five to mount!

If outside, how do you keep the lens clean? For what I see on my windshield, headlights, etc the lens would go dirt in no time. I solved this by mounting a normal point-and-shoot on the eDock behind the windshield. But it's not so cool as having the camera outside.
Usually people mount them outside.
I'm probably going to try different spots like the bumper, sliders, etc. It has a fully waterproof case, so I'll probably just check it occasionally to see if it's dirty. I think the WOL videos are all shot with gopro.

Quick questions:

1) is it really making a difference to put that kind of air intake instead of the original (gas and HP) and if yes how to choose the best one?

2) if I don't offroad in mud, but I'm on the street and run in a couple of inches or even 1 foot of water, can I damage the air intake or the engine?

Thanks

This looks really good. Where did you get the rails to get the cross bars on?

Intakes or aftermarket air filters are definitely worth the upgrade. It is a simple concept - more smooth, colder air in and more, better exhaust out. Better than stock setup.

Your choice and research is best for deciding. I like Airaid.

You will have no issues with an intake, as long as you don't swamp the front end. Run a pre-filter and keep it clean. I only clean my air filter once every 2 to 3 years.
