What was done to your JK this week?
Well this weekend I completed the following:
-Jumped my CJ7 to get it out of the garage so I can pull my JK in to work on it:
-Installed the RC quick discos (Didn't figure a pic was needed, everyone's seen them and know what they look like)
-Installed my CB/PA (haven't tuned my Fire Stick II yet, that comes this week):

Weekend Upgrade!!
Major upgrade this weekend.
Flipped my 07 about a month ago. Laid on the couch for a week or two.
Went Sat. and picked up my new 2012 with the new Pentastar and 5-speed Automatic.
This thing drives like a really nice car. It's amazing what 285hp will do for a JK.
Installing the XHD bumper and Superwinch off the 07' as soon as it quits raining.
But I think I'm giving my 35s to my son for his 84' CJ7. It just drives soooo much better without them. and I'll have the winch if I get stuck.

Completed my new aluminum tailgate cargo rack (only 10 lbs) and installed an additional Rotopax mount to the passenger side rail; added a second 8 gallon Rotopax fuel pack to the lower mount and moved water to the upper mount. Water packs are still lower than the roofline. Getting ready for more remote trips in 2012.
Added my tailgate holder over the Smitty packs.

I picked up a 4x6 - 50Watt Powerhorn from Radio Shack. The unit has a mounting bracket already with it and I used some sheet metal screws to attach it to the sheet metal (channel) that hangs down below the underside of the hood. I looked at many different options for mounting it but there just is no very much room and I did not want to mount it under the Jeep to the frame (I figured it would get damaged). Warning: Fitting it in this place takes time and you'll need to do a few "test fits" to make sure you do not interfere with anything else under the hood, it fits but it's tight.
Gonna run it like this for a while but might throw a couple small bolts into it depending on how this holds (rather than sheet metal screws), going to keep a close eye on it.

Loud enough, kind of impressed myself as I didn't expect (or want) it to be crazy loud. Went in with low expectations, came out the other side happy with the result.
