You guys are running these intakes with no upgrade to the engine?? Mechanics telling me i wont see much performance enhanced just gettin the air intake alone....more for high performance engines.....thoughts???? wouldnt mind spedning the funds if i get a better acceleration response.

Bigger flow air intake, then the bigger exhaust, then the intake manifold gets ported and polished. Maybe you need a MAF that will handle the extra air. Then you need bigger injectors to get more fuel in there so you still hit the stoichiometric. Then the lumpier cam . . .
