What was done to your JK this week?

Through the grapevine I've heard of a half dozen or so cases that were similar--involving Jeep, Chevy, Ford, Toyota, GMC and Nissan. That said, I know at least three people personally (not 100% sure if one of them has sensors still) that have had zero issues with the beads (on Silverado 2500HD, Ram 2500, Toyota FJ.) I'm sure you can find plenty of people out there with similar stories as well.

The company that makes the Dyna Beads claims it isn't an issue, but there have been problems traced to these types of balancing systems before. I've personally seen an issue on a late-model Tahoe (very close to Jeep's sensor) about a year after the bead use, involving 3 of the 5 tires they were installed in. That's why I didn't put them in my tires when I first got them. I had planned to move the sensors over to my new rims (which I didn't wind up doing due to a lack of maintenance kits at the time...DOH!) Need to do that before the feds find out.
