Yep... I know how you feel, for a while I had major anxiety about that. I had nightmares that it would fall and destroy itself.

Stuffed the garage remote in the Roll Bar Padding (Grrrrrreat idea) and added Black Door Sill Protectors and Slush Mats.
Just picked it up a little over two weeks ago and loving it!

Big Changes
Big changes this past weekend. Sold the 2010 Rubicon and bought a 2011 Call of Duty:Black Ops Special Edition. Why? Several reasons:
1) Dealer's are offering great deals to get rid of 2011's before the 2012's come out
2) Got an awesome tradein value on my 2010
3) most important - got rid of the stupid auto tranny and got back into a 6-speed.
I have been very unhappy with the auto tranny in my 2010. The stupid thing couldn't even hold speed on mild inclines. I already had to add a transmission cooler to keep it from overheating due to constant downshifting, and was looking at regearing in the near future. Now with the 6-speed, that is no longer a problem and I can go up to 35's with the stock gears and be happy.
The 2011 interior is nice also
I pulled all of my mods off the 2010 before I sold it, so they are all sitting in the garage waiting to be installed on the 2011. Waste not, want not...

Well I finally got an SWR meter and got my CB sorted out with a new firestick, mounted now to the wince flarehead. Works awesome now! Never knew truckers were so funny to listen to

I built the frame to evenly distribute the weight of the top without suspending it like some racks do, plus I was then able to make the shelf for the Freedom Panels. From there I put 6 foot ( should have been 6 1/2) cross braces for lifting. I have eye hooks in the ceiling joists and the lifting frame. Next I added the pulleys to all the eye hooks and ran the ropes. It takes a little time to make sure you get an even lift, but it more about storage than speed for me. I put tiedown cleats on the wall so I could go back and forth between the 2 ropes. Once I got is close to the top I put the ratchet straps on to take the pressure off the pulley system. All the orange straps wrapped around the frame is just to keep it out of the way. The cover is an old cab cover I had for my last F-150 S-crew. Fits good enough for me!

Dropped the rear doors off at my dads, put all my soft door lowers on, took off the hard top, put the duster on and put the freedom tops on due to a chance of rain.

Just purchased rear TF 3"-4" shocks and a spectre in-line airbox so I can complete my custom/CAI by putting on my Top-spin pre-cleaner and remove the cone filter I'm running now.... Now, the delivery waiting game...
