Just chopped my front bumper and put on VDP stubby end caps.. I did a write up w/ pics.. I'm defiantely very happy with the outcome.. It gives the JK a more agressive look.. Check out the thread and tell me what you think!!

Garage Door Opener Mod
Got the idea from other posts on the forum, so I figured I'd give it a go. I actually have had the garage door opener fastened to the bottom side of the lid of the center console storage area. It was a secure location, but not very convenient as I had to open the console every time I needed to use it. This looks like it will be a much better solution:
I chose to pull the front plate off of mine because of the awkward shape. This left just the component button. I taped some black fabric inside the bezel to kinda match the texture and color of the plastic. It actually looks like a tweeter cover. Here are the pics:

Nothing special, rugged ridge floor liners, daystar hood latch upgrade, and removed all the factory decals. Ill replace those with some stock looking decals in flat back, I think they will look good on the charcoal paint.

The gas struts for my Freedom Top had gone limp, so installed some aftermarket ones that are a lot stiffer and cheaper. They were 30 bucks a peice.....the smaller MOPAR ones were almost $50.00 each!
