Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What do you think

Think you should have decal's made up instead, just an alternative for you to consider.

I am sure there will be decals made. My son has many friends that want things to remind them of him. There are even some that are getting tat's of his sun with there own touch to it. I never knew how many friends until his passing. There were so many people of all ages and colors at the service. For this I have to do something that is difficult in his name. Kory loved the words you can't do it or it's too hard to do. He thought himself and with the help of the internet he rebuilt 3 gear boxes, 1 Toyota, 1 VW and 1 Audi. They all worked too!! This whole project has to be special in his name. No short cuts. I just wish he was here.

I think whatever you do is great, I can't even imagine the loss of a child. Good luck!

when people get tattoos in your memory then you are obviously a special person.... the fact that your son's friends have done it speaks greatly of him

Sorry for your loss and this is an amazing way to tribute him

I like the design but maybe tone the tan mesh down to black or green to match the paint. I know you said you got a kahki top so if may look hella good once it's done and on there. either way "Go big or go home"

I think you should put the design on the doors and the hood gods speed.

It will be the grill not a cover. Machine154 yours is nice but trying to keep max air flow to the radiator. The over size tires and wheels will work everything a lot harder even with regearing. Here is were I got my idea from.

I think you should go with this grill, pull the star off and have one made like your sons tattoo, that would look sweet in the middle of the black mesh and shout to your son everyday that your always thinking of him.

Thank for your continues support and suggestions. This is why this forum is so cool. There is one more thing I would like to share with you guys and then I will stop with all the pics. One of the son's friends came up with the idea. He asked if we could get the son's spare hood to his VW and get everyone to sign it at the service. It turned out great!! So glad he thought of it. We had pics taken before it was clear coated in case any of the writing ran. The ring was his tire ring that his cousin gave him that he wore all the time. My wife wears it on a necklace around her neck every day.
