If you don't have apayment you won't need a warranty. Put the money away that you would be spending on apayment so if anything goes wrong with your jeep just pay cash to have it fixed. If you don't have any problems you will have a nice chunk of money put away.

I have a payment (and a while to go). This 2012 will be the same payment as my 08 just for 3 years longer, BUT I am back to zero miles with a warranty. And mine has had a bunch of stuff covered under warranty, mainly everything that could leak underneath it has. But maybe that means that everything has been fixed and is good to go.

If the warranty is your worry, price an extended warranty from the dealer. Then make your decision.

I am attached to my current Jeep! Aren't we all? I've been doing a pretty good job of cool mods: 35's on black Addicts, lift, stubby bumber with a winch, Dyno catback and Poison Spyder crusher flares on the way....ALL of which they will put onto the 2012.

Did you buy the 2008 new? If so, that's a lot of miles in a short period. I would say get the 2012 since your payment will not change, and you'll get the 3/36K mile warranty, plus the 100K mile powertrain warranty.

I have put 66,000 on it in just over 2 1/2 years. It's my DD and I'm in sales and cover a lot of ground.

Imo, keep your current ride, and pay it off in 3 years. From that day on...no more Jeep payment(s)...its yours!! Then think about replacing your engine with a Hemi, add ProRocks, or whatever goodies you would like to 'your' Jeep!!
