Do you find the slip resistance helpful?

I suppose the ability to peel it off and throw it away would have its advantages in such a situation, right?

On a more relevant note, I Plasti-dipped my wheels. About 1,000 miles later they're holding up great and I have no regrets.

I have plasti-dipped my emblem and turn signals up front, my antenna, and all 3 key holes
