anyone know what type of bumper this is? also it looks like the winch will sit down inside the bumper, is that correct?

 

Maybe a smittybilt? I'm not too good with pointing out what brand bumpers, haha....looks like a smittybilt tho....sure others will chime in.

I'm not sure about the bumper, but I'm looking for something similar that will recess the winch and accomodate factory fog lamps. BTW, I'm in Waldorf.. Any good places (Local) to get the Jeep dirty?

How about xhd rugged ridge winch bumper. Have this on my 08 RubiU! Bought it from thejeephut.com, cost was $307.00 and no tax.

 

Or how about the stubby I got from Bestop? It's a serious bumper with foglight cutouts, winchplate, D-Ring mounts....shipped to my door for I think $240. $240!!!!! I was blown away.

 

It's a Smittybilt XRC bumper, if you got to my profile and look in my gallery you will see the same bumper with a winch in it. Also I used a solid steel fairlead instead of rollers. Rollers will save the life of your cable but the solid fairlead just looks smoother in my opinion.

 

NICE, we used to go to the power lines, but that didnt last long, got a final notice in the mail saying not to go there anymore lol. ill be back in country in about 2 1/2 months, i got a few guys that have found some more spots to go to, maybe we can meet up?

Thanks everyone for the help with bumper!! i like the look of this one, cant decide on what to get though, ive had my eye on the poison spyder (in sign) for awhile now, and its hard to find anything else, thats just me though

 

I like the bumper too but do you have any info on the jeep. Lift, rim, tire size. That's the look and height I'm going for.
