Having installed a front factory locker here is how it works and my thoughts on how to make it work with an arb.
The locker works with a simple activation of a 12 constant voltage. You could hook this up to the relay that activates the arb air switch and you should be good to go.
If you want to have the computer work correctly you could try this: The second set of wires to the factory locker is a negative wire that is simply closed by a switch in the locker after it activates. You could replace this locker activated switch with a relay that is activated by the arb switch relay---i.e take the switched positive pole off of the arb relay and wire it to a second relay. When the arb relay activates, the second relay would then activate, closing the switch wires from the factory. This would make the computer think that the locker has been activated
Hope this helps and works. if it frys your computer don't blame me.

I'm sure it will blow up a fuse before frying the computer
Thanks... I'll consider that when I'm at that point
Thank you
I'll be installing 5:13
the good thing is that they are perfect gears for my engine right now... and when I put the (ORT8) Off Road Technology 8 motor I will put 42" under it
R we doing a run tomorrow?
Very cool, I will save this pic and have it ready with my axles. hopefully it should make it much easier
I have until next Wednesday to pick how many lug nuts I want
meaning that I can have a 6 lug or 5
they are by stander a 5 lug.... but they are not the same bolt pattern is my current axles! so I have to options and i'm leaning to get the 6 lug.. I think it's cooler and I have more wheels to select from..
the only down side I think would be to get a converter to run it with my current wheels
what do you guys think?
which way should I go
Thanks

In regards to you lug nuts. I would go 5x5.5. It is a much more common bolt pattern than the six lug. If it ever came down to having to borrow a spare, YOu would be much more likley to be on the trail with someone with this pattern than a six bolt patter. Most of the jeeps in my club run 5x5.5

Alright so I placed an order for ProRocks
My question, Is there a way to have the factory locker switch work for the Pro Rocks?
I just want to keep the interior as clean as possible!
Also
if the switch will not work, can I have the lockers light turn on the dash? like my factory ones do?
Thanks

I would be interested to see how they sealed those connectors.

The pumpkin size diff between the prorocks and the 80s are HUGE Prorock is better clearance then a D44.. the 80, not so much.
Why stop at D60's.. Why not just go all out and do D80's..

wayoflifette:
when Mel wired the rear locker for your jeep, does the rear locker light stay solid on the dash?
in other words does it act like the factory locker? the light keeps blinking until the locker engages and then stays solid?
Thanks
