Personal preference. When ChevyM14 and I started out planning the paint job, we wanted to pay homage to the Willy's of WWII. That original paint is imported from France and is the closest match to US Army WWII olive drab.
From the start I was torn between OD and camo, and after months of driving the JK painted OD I decided I would like a camo scheme better, much like current Army vehicles. So in the span of like 2 days we completed the camo paint.
