Default Found this video while on YouTube of a TJ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmrxasHc6Ww UPDATE: Everything is holding up great. The few chips I had are now touched up. I used a Sharpie "PAINT" marker which worked great. You can find them in the paint section of your hardware store (got mine at Home Depot).

I purchased 3 kits and just got done spraying my hard top and am in the prep process for the tub. question, how's it holding up? IE - fading, durability? I ask because while putting the hardware back on my hardtop, I scraped some of the liner pretty easy. Now grant it, was only 20 hrs since I sprayed but still gave me some concern about the strength. I bought 3 kits and plan on using 2 on the interior. I want to make sure there is a good, thick coat. Especially in the rear due to 3 dogs! Any info/insight is greatly appreciated. And thanx for the great write up. Nate H. (Also, did you ever line your fenders?)
I've been very happy with it. I'm guessing it's been about 2 years since I sprayed it. I used 1 kit on my 2 dr. I had a few spots where the rear seat attaches where it chipped some. I think it was from me putting the seat in wrong and banging it down trying to make it work like a dumb ass. I have a YouTube video that shows the chips somewhere. I ended up using a sharpie paint marker and that made those spots all but disappear, and has held up. I haven't noticed any extra chipping in about a year, and I'm still loving it. I also had a very small scrap when I put my seats in before it was fully cured. It takes it about a week to get to full strength. Seems like the official raptor pdf says to wait 3 days before even doing light duty stuff. It's pretty deceptive in how it seems nice and hard after a few hours. I think I waited a day and had no other issues. There has been no fading at all. Looks brand new if I wipe it down. I didn't do the fenders. I wouldn't unless you have the metal Sahara type. There was talk of a few people saying they where going to but I haven't ever seen it done or heard anything about how it holds up. I just don't think raptor would flex well. Plus plastic is not real good for a paint surface. I have heard that raptor takes touch up spraying well. I think you just have to clean the surface real well with acetone or something like that. I'm glad I haven't really needed to re-spray. I think you made a wise decision. I would for sure do it again.

I recall reading higher psi results in less texture (smoother), but can't find that particular post anymore. Anyone that's done it know for sure?

Yes, higher psi causes a slightly smaller Bedliner chunks

Did my entire tub and hinges. Prepped my hardtop (inside and out) flares, and Evo corners last weekend to spray this weekend. It's a good product for cheap

Did my bumper right before I sold it. Also did my rear deck over plywood.
