I sold my truck for a 2012 jku and have no regrets. If I ever need a truck I know plenty of people willing to lend theirs. I will however be buying a mk2 gti to daily and probably an older truck eventually.

I say sell you truck and buy a jeep, and another truck!

If your even asking the question sounds like u need a jeep. That is why u bought the off road package on the ford. It made u not feel so bad about ur jeep but it never managed being the real thing.

I traded my 2009 Ram 1500 quad cab Laramie for my 2011 JKU-R. I don't regret it a bit. I do miss the power at times but as I get older and my priorities change, the power thing seems less important. I got a Congo cage to go on my jeep for hauling plywood and such. I've found my JKU does everything I need. I only regret not doing it sooner.

I struggled with this many times myself. I would get rid of the Jeep and pick up a truck but before you knew it the thing would be lifted and on 35's trying to replace the feeling and capabilities of the Jeep. I have never really needed the bed so I always end up back in a Jeep. This last go around I bought a 2011 Ford Raptor with the 6.2L and while I loved that truck I got tired of it never fitting anywhere (including the garage) and the awful gas mileage (avg. 11.7). Where am I at now? Well the Raptor is gone and I am back in a Jeep again. Eventually I would like to get a nicely modded Tacoma as a third vehicle just to have that option, but that's a few years down the road. IMHO if you don't need the bed then ditch the truck. Good luck with your decision.
