Thanks Echo. I took as much off the front as I could I have some more trimming to go and some internal adjustments to make. Still waiting for my antenna adapter to come before I tear it apart again.

Ah the cobra 75. I think it's a nice unit but there have been mixed reviews. Keep me informed, if you can, on how it is. Thanks

It's the midland 75-822, I think most of the complaints have been people using them with out an external antenna. IDK guess I'll find out
