I cut them anyway
VA laws state no fenders are even required except on commercial vehicles.

I do really like the idea of cutting the fenders...i guess i can always get an extra set of flatties and have them on standby in case i screw up

Our tires have to be within a certain range of marker lights......4" I think. So you can get away with no flares but you'll need to have marker lights out within 4" of the edge of the tire.

I don't know If I ever commented on your flares. They turned out awesome. I might go your route when I get bigger tires too. I even got a set of flares in the attic just waiting to be cut. BTW, nice color choice on your jeep!

I found some marker lights that are dot approved at O'Reilly's for around $6 each. Just like the ones 951jeep used on post 472 of this thread.
