Is it friction or adhesive that holds it on?

There's a glue inside the trim

You can get both. Id go with the glue one. Pep boys has it 14.99 for 25f which will do all 4

Rears done. Ran out trim. My pack only had 14ft in in need some for the last rear fender. Get it later. Looks pretty good for a DIY mod.

I glued under the fender to the skeleton to help with any flap etc. Anyway I had a front fender blow right off on the highway doing 120 km. I had to stop and run about 300 meters back to rescue it from the lane(rush hour). Fender was hit by a few cars but did not take too much damage. I have now added a bolt to each securing to the skeleton. Just a warning for anyone who hits higher speeds - the clips alone are not safe. Lady cop who arrived on scene was nice enough to ignore inspecting the jeep for unsafe illegal mods.

I used a bimetal blade on mine and traced my line with paint pen. Cut came out pretty darn straight instead of using the trim pieces I went ahead and used a orbital sander with 400 grit to smooth it out and then 800 to round and shine it up. A little plastic polish (novus red bottle) and a terry cloth towel it looks factory.

Just a thought for someone looking to just finish it and not cover the edges.

This is barely enough to get me into this thread but it was all I needed to prevent rubbing while offroad.

Hears my tape line to guide my cut

I don't have a pic of it, but I painted the fender wells black. Most people wouldn't even know I trimmed them. I didn't do the fronts, they only rub if I disconnect my sway bar. I may do a more aggressive trim later on both the front and rear and upgrade to 35s. :-)
