Mine have been cut now for awhile and love em! But here in Utah its snowing and salt everywhere on the roads....now the trim is falling off on all my fenders....does anyone know where the thread is for just sanding the edges and make them look good without the trim....somebody did this but cant remember what they used.....

Got my jk on Christmas Eve and have wanted to do this since the new year. Took a bit of convincing myself to make that first cut. Kept looking at the pics on jk-forum. Finally decided to take the plunge. I haven't put the weather stripping on but I got all 4 fenders and the pants done and reinstalled. I cut the fender with everything attached, then started to take things apart. Much easier than I expected, just time consuming to finesse the fender support into the right shape. I just ordered some mini side marker lights to make it a little more legal for pa.

Now my fiance wants me to cut hers apart as soon as she gets her wheels and tires next month. She just got hers in October. Jeeps seem to multiply. I bought a Jeep Kaiser deuce & a half in September. Her mom has a cherokee, sister has Liberty, dad has '92 wrangler, and brother in law has a JK.

Sorry, so far just a pic from my iphone in poor light.

reading this post today gave me the push I needed to actually cut mine! I went with the so-cal type look. I may trim them some more to make the corner a bit smoother, I am undecided if I wanted the angle or a round corner. dont laugh at the tiny tires! I sold my 33's, put some more lift in and just bought some 37's. just gotta find some 15 inch wheels to put them on!

I will take some more pics tomorrow outside, it was dark when i finished
