Did you contact Trek Armor about this? Complaining on here most likely will not get you very far, just Say'n

I called Mitch direct as I thought it would be easier to solve my problem than second hand info from vendor. As it was 4 calls, numerous emails and batches of pictures didn't help. Then to top it of after 7 months it was a hassle for him. I'll find someone else to deal with. Who I bought them from isn't the issue. His customer service is.

In my case, I was sent the wrong rear seat covers (no slot for latch to fold the seat). I contacted both the vendor and Mitch. The problem ended up being on the vendor side as they had an old part number or something like that. The vendor then worked with Mitch to resolve the problem.
So, when Mitch says that it's a hassle, then it may be that there is a vendor issue that you may not know about.
And if you really think it was easier to talk to Mitch directly, then why didn't you buy directly instead of vendor?
And what do you have to lose in contacting the vendor to resolve the problem?

It sounds to me from your first description that what happened to me may have happened to you. I bought from a vendor instead of direct. After a long wait, I finally got the covers. The rear seats did not have slots for the latches to fold the rear seats down. I sent both the vendor and Mitch an email at the same time as I wasn't sure who would resolve this. The vendor responded and said that after talking with Mitch, they discovered that they had the wrong part number in their system, and the vendor worked with Mitch to get me the right seat cover. That's why I was asking about why you didn't contact the vendor.
Ultimately, Mitch's business is not with you since you ordered through a vendor. It is with the vendor. His business sees an order along with the money from the vendor, not from you. Your vendor may have ordered the wrong part. So, when you call up demanding a fix, his accounting systems probably don't have visibility back to the vendor and certainly not to you in order to see where the problem may be. I don't know for sure, but that might be why he's saying it's a hassle. It may be easier for the vendor to see what the problem was then for Mitch to see it. In addition, there is a cost associated with fixing the problem. You aren't going to pay the cost since the error was not on your part. But, if the error was not on Mitch's part, why should he ship you a new set of covers at his expense? If the vendor is at fault, then the vendor foots the bill.
Since you bought from a vendor, I would suggest trying to contact the vendor to resolve it. Your vendor may know the problem and may have fixed it faster.
You said that the issue isn't with who you bought it from, but rather Mitch's customer service. Since you haven't contacted the vendor to fix the problem, how is that you know the vendor is not the issue?

Just ordered..
I just ordered a front set of black/graphite seat covers for my '09. I called, Mitch answered, we chatted most of the time about baseball, then he ordered my seat covers. IMO it was great customer service. Real "small town man" feeling from this company. Lots of pride in their work. And best of all, IT'S MADE IN THE U.S.A. Seat covers should be here in a few days and I will let you guys know how mine go on. Also, if you order some, be sure to mention the forum. They love the free advertising, and they give a good discount to people who mention it.

I just got a set of the black with red down the middle for the front seats (only seats )) in my two door 2012
I live my new seat covers and aside from the obvious, they have a ton of slots for storage (it's the military storage system called Mollee so?)
There are also zippered pockets both in front and behind each seat
All that said, the drivers seat cover arrived with a very slight white stain about the size of a medium sized mans hand, I know it's picky but they were brand new, I want to make my own stains!
So they are sending me a new seat cover ASAP
