I've also looked at the treadwright warden, same tread pattern as the bgf all terrain... does anyone know the actual diameter of these 2 tires in 285/70/17? My spare has never seen pavement and my budget needs all the help it can get.... 3 treadright warden 285/70/17 and 1 bfg t/a ko 285/70/17 ????

I just got my tires installed so I couldn't tell you how it affects the gas mileage. There is definitely a difference between the BFG' s and the Treadwright , the Treadwright feels like it rolls easier. I would not recommend the 315's if you travel that many miles on a regular basis, the 285's would be a better choice.

I just put 285/70/17 wardens on my 2 door sport 6 speed with 3.21 gears. Its a 2012 so different motor but I get 18.5 mpg city and 21 highway. They measure about 32.5". I love the tires.
