Since I've already opened my mouth, how about another possibly dumb question.
Can you still engage 4x4 with the spyntec? Or, do you have to re-engage the axles?

yes, just the same as stock, with one more step...

Turn the lockouts to "lock"

and before anyone asks, its very easy to install these. My wife installed the spyntec kit on our new JK.

Once you use lockouts, you have to get out of the rig and manually lock your hubs if you want to use 4WD........just like most pickup trucks used to use. All it takes is to hop out and turn a knob on the hub. It then locks your wheel to the axle and you have the same 4WD system as you normaly would.

Having manual hub locks saves wear and tear on the front drive components when driving around in 2WD........especially on other types of vehicles that have short half shaft axles in the front with CV joints.

Anyone have experience with a Monster Box? Is it comparable to an Atlas?

This looks exactly like mine. It caught on fire exactly the same and the case brew apart at the exact same spot.
