I got mine from a local store near me. It saved a ton on any possible shipping charges. A local google search may tell you whats local for you. I found places I never knew had metal.

how much do you have into it ? you were trying to keep it down !

you got a bit into it im sure with the tires rims and materials ( but came out nice )

Thank you! I have at this point around $800 including my wheels and tires (well over half). I knew that I was going to have to purchase tires and wheels to match regardless of the build I went with. I was able to save money on one rim because I had a spare after my tire installer damaged the back side of it last year when I first bought them. He replaced the rim and gave me the old one. I have also been able to save a ton on the metal, because the buddy who is helping me build it had a lot of the metal already just kicking around. Depending on what I decide to do for a top, lights and paint is all I have left.
I have not weighed it yet, but I can pick the rear off the ground without too much trouble to move it around.
I do believe it will cost me a few hundred more in the end, because I now want a welder. I have always wanted to learn how to weld and have been able to do some through this build. (Someday!)

Got the frame pieces welded on the tongue today to finish the triangulation and also welded on the front storage piece.

yah you could weld togeather a rack on top of the cover you build too!
weld brackets for gerrycans and all that stuff ! prety cool ! how was the por 15 to put on ? and where did you get it from ?
