Traded in the old JK for a...
So I traded in my old 2007 JK Unlimited Sahara as it was near the end of its lease. My original plan was just to buy it and then build it up but I couldnt pass up an amazing deal from Adams Jeep in Aberdeen.
Goodbye old JK
and hello... barely used 2009 JK Unlimited X with upgraded convience package, 3" Rustys lift, 33" Nitto AT tires, K&N CAI, and a Gibson dual exhaust. Oh and its also a manual, last JK was an auto and WOW what a difference!
After driving it for a couple of days now I like the sound of the exhaust it is throaty as hell but my girl rode in the back seat and said its almost unbearable.. may need to swap it for the MBRP one. Otherwise im lovin it!

I am kicking around trading in my 2008, it has 62k on it, but the main reason is the wife has a problem with her shoulder and can not shift the stick. My problem is that if I get an auto I will most likley loose the jeep during the week, due to the fact that my drive is longer, and our other car is a Scion XB.

I enjoyed the automatic from my prior Jeep but the 6 speed is definitely faster imo because you have so many more gear choices. Even with 33s I can get the MPG up to 20+ if I baby the pedal and put it in the right gear.
