Kind of hijacking the thread, but the pics of a couple jeeps with doors off and baby / booster seats in place makes me think of my dilemma of wish I could feel OK about driving with the kids and doors off - and wishing those stupid tube doors were not so expensive... they really want to but just seems so unsafe.. and know the topic has been discussed - just curious if there is any more reaction given these doorless pics with car seats...

Kind of funny you ask this question..... yesterday I was pulled over by the RCMP for random seatbelt checks in my town and they checked out my kids booster seats and seatbelts and had no issues at all. They were happy with the tightness and very happy that I had locked the seatbelts...(Just extend the entire belt out & pull back till tight on the kids). They had no issues going doorless with my kids...and complimented on how nice my JK was and that I was enjoying the day with my kids. My kids love going doorless & topless.

I have had a few folks say I was nuts to drive doorless....but you read the warning sign on the softop and hardtop and it states the doors and top are not for safety always wear your seatbelts.
