Tonka Update....not pretty.

I take back my comment in the other thread, I've only been without mine for half the time you've been without yours... I did find out today that mine needs a new front axle housing, which has to be trucked from the figgin east coast, which means another 2 week delay...

So...yesterday they decided it needed a new transfer case....
had it overnighted.

this afternoon they gave it all back to me....

They said I need a new axle shaft, and they will call me when it comes in.

So I have my Jeep, but no 4wd....and no repair done.

I feel your pain crash, I was without mine for 3mos. At least you got it back for now. It does feel like your riding around dickless when your missing your shaft though. No 4wd made me feel like a limp gimp.

For all of you who have asked,

Alternator
Fan Assembly/motor
Intake temp sensor
Carrier
Bearings
Transfer Case
....axle shaft on its way.

and no bill yet.
Im assuming they are covering it all under warranty.
They havent once asked me about whether or not to go ahead, or told me pricing or anything.
If I was paying for it, they wouldnt be putting stock parts back on at dealer prices, thats for sure.
