Tonka color change?
Ok.
So I was thinking this morning about a new color scheme for my JK.
I know I'd have to retire the Tonka title, but here's what I'm thinking about.
I'm seriously considering a deep charcoal/gunmetal with a slight fade to a light steel blue at the very bottom.
More of a shark theme.
Will also paint bushwackers.
Wheels would stay black.
Bumpers black.
Inside Tub black.
Engine compartment black.
Leaning toward fleshtone tattooed dash and console.
Vote and leave opinions.
This was supposed to be a poll, but my phone locked up mid-post, so everybody just yell out what you think!

I'd love to see it. I suspect you might hear some negative opinions about the multi-color paint scheme but I'm getting a little sick of seeing every rig blacked out. I think you could put together a great fade with those colors.

if your gonna change the colour, go with something thats so utterly mind blowing that when people look at it they wet there pants........... i think after bright yellow you would get bored of steel grey if im honest.

What about a deep charcoal with a fade to white across the very bottom, like a great white shark? Only problem with a 2 door is that you wouldnt get as good of an effect as a 4 door because of length, we need someone to photoshop some ideas for ya.

I hate to reference MTV, but on one of their Pimp My Ride shows they did leather seat covers with tattoos. You could try something like that. But I'm with MK. Go with your gut. You haven't been wrong yet.
Oh yeah, for the look to work right, the Nack absolutely has to go. I'd be willing to take it off your hands.

I don't want everybody thinking this is the same steel blue.
It would be an ultra light silvery blue. I'll post some colors from work later.
I did think of white as mentioned above, but decided it would be too stark , and I need my fade to blend well.
Might go with a blue grey candy over the fade for continuity.
Also considering line x for a sharkskin texture.

As I recall Rampage had a jeep at Sema last year that was a blue and gray. It looked awesome. Its pictured in the JK sema gallery.
If it turns out anything like that, I say DO IT.
