Default Thinking of bedlining and painting d-rings

As the title says, I'm thinking of bedlining and painting my d-rings once I get my XRC bumpers on so it's not all boring black.

These are the products I'm going to use.

I'm curious if anyone else has done something similar and how they turned out. Post pics if you have them.

Open to suggestions.

IMHO, I would be hesitant to paint them because it would cover signs of any fatigue cracking or splitting. If you are just doing it for show then switching to some "real" ones for trail, then go for it. But then you might be accused of doing something strictly for show and that's Hummer talk there...

Best paint to use is the rustoleum bed liner paint. It works amazing and you can get at any Lowes or home depot for like $8 a can

Bed Armor sprays in a very thick rubbery splatter. If you haven't used it before you may want to test it. Nothing like normal spray paint. Their Bed Liner is more like normal paint.

I used the duplicolor bed armor roll on with Kevlar on my bumpers and side steps.

I did this on mine and it held up pretty good. If you use them the paint or bedliner is going to come off eventually. I ended up just getting some black smitybilt ones. they're only $10 a piece.
