OK Im considering selling my 09 Unlimited Sahara.

If so I will have quite a few mods all inExcellent condition I will be selling all mods less than 1 year old .. some only a couple of weeks old

But I have one ? for all of you that have traded one any time recently or in the past.

I have a Hardtop in great condition with a few scratches on one of the freedom top panels.. other than that they are in great condition

I also have a Soft top in great condition..

WHich would be better to trade in ?

Im going to sell the other on the forum

I was thinking trade in with the softop and sell the hardtop on the forum

BUt would I get alot more for a trade in on a hardtop over the soft?

Trying to get as much $$ back as I can out of my tops options..

I would get the trade in quote with the soft on it. Then ask what the adj would be with the ht on it. I wouldnt think the dealer will cjange that much and u could sell the ht on the forum.

That's a pretty clean looking Jeep. I know you can get $1500 for a clean hardtop, while soft tops are less than half that. Plus with your soft top being the older style, won't get as good private sale for it.

Going to be coming back to the Jk after you sell?

THink I will sell the jeep with the soft top and sell the hard top on the forum...

I will prob just trade or sell the Jeep with the lift and mickey thompson baja atz's and mickey thompson 17" classic locks and sell all other parts on the forum..

it only has 14k on it and has custom leather in excellent condition so I'm hoping to still get a good trade.. if not I will take the time and sell it out right.


Yep I'm still gonna stick around the forum ( love jeeps )

debating buying a '13 or whether I should look for another suv that I wont sink so much $$. EIther way I need better MPG at this point..

trust me this is not a fun sell
