Default Are these worth it....?

Ok I have been debating tinting my front/side marker lights for a while now and I know I am going to finally do it. BUT... its either VHT nite shade OR these ones from eBay.

I know everyone has great things to say about the nite shade but has anyone had any experience with these smoked lenses from eBay? Or should I not even bother and go niteshade?

These are just the fronts....advice appreciated

I used that same stuff from eBay and it's crap! Faded and started to turn white after like 6-7 months and as soon as it get scratched it starts to chip off, used VHT in the passed and never had any problems so I just did all the lights on my jk with it, oh and the VHT spray is only $12.99 at Canadian tire lol

I am debating the same thing, actually was looking at the Recon LED style lights. What did you end up doing?

One reason for wanting to buy a second set of lights, is if I do end up selling my JK you can put the stock ones back in and sell the aftermarket ones.

DO NOT buy recon...just search recon and their led marker/side lights. definitly do the vht nightshades and save your cash and aggravation for something else.

The problem with Nightshades is its illegal to tint your own lights in a lot of states, and you can't return the vehicle to its stock appearance once you've sprayed them which may be a problem down the road. As for myself I plan on keeping mine a long time so I just sprayed them. Hell after welding and drilling into the body spraypaint seemed like the least of my worries.

Love VHT. Once you get used to spraying it you can get super light coats to give lens surfaces a nice "smoked" look. I have never been crazy about the blacked-out approach.
