Me and a buddy installed a TF 2.5" lift with shocks & coils on my 2011 Wrangler as well and so far it has been great. It has given me extra clearance for my 35's..Took me and a buddy about 8 hrs (including some bs'ing and lunch break).

I installed that same lift about a year and a half ago. (Also from Northridge...) It went on easy and I have had no problems with it. Adding bumpers and a winch in the next couple of weeks though. Hoping it doesn't droop too much.
