Default Teraflex Third Brakelight Build

The Teraflex Third Brakelight Extension will not fit with the factory spare tire due to the third brake light it has on it. Here is what I did to combine the two. Sorry these pictures were taken after the install but I think y'all can tell what I did.

First I took off the factory spare tire holder and got a hacksaw and cut through the factory third brake light at the base. Getting a flush cut was hard but it doesn't matter. And then I got black spray paint to cover up the scratches and cuts.

Next, I went and bought 2 neoprene washers (2 inch diameter) and 4 fender washers (1-1/2 inch diameter). These went between the body and the tire carrier on the bottom because the Teraflex goes between the body and carrier up top. The neoprene went first and then 2 fender washers.

To mount the 35" tire I needed the MBRP Spare Tire Relocation bracket.

But when you mount the tire even the Daystar bumpstops are too short to touch the tire to help vibration. So I came up with a plan to rubber cement the Daystar bumpstop and the factory bumpstop together. And overnight it worked!!!

But the bumpstop was then too long, so I cut out a half moon shape on both to fix that.

Before I added the bumpstop, I had a little rattle on bumps but now the rattle is gone.
