I hope there is a way to mount a Rotopax without the Hi-Lift jack.

Same. That seems to just hang everything off the hi lift? I hope whatever the hi lift is mounted to is strong On the other hand, if it mounts to the hi lift only the it could by applied to people who don't have a teraflex tire carrier, but do have a hi lift, which is a plus.

Thanks for sharing the pic k0260!

for myself I was hoping it would be just the Hi-lift and rotopax. Already have recovery tools on gate. Nice options though. Wonder what we'll be lookin at cost wise for this?

IIRC the shovel/axe mount is from Jeepswag.

That looks like a ton of rattling to me. Also very easy to steal. I wish it was just a rotopax. We need to find out what bolt size the hole is and get a universal rotopax mount

Which bolt size? On the carrier the outers are 7/16" and inner ones 3/8".

What tips/tricks are there, to get the studs into the tire mounting bracket?
Tried the lugnut/spacer trick.....
It go them started, but wouldn't pull them through.
It stripped the threads on the lugnuts (tried two) instead.
Will a regular Big-O be able to press them in?

I ended up using a piece of wood to get it off the ground, then put a big deep socket around the threaded side to give it support and room to move into the carrier and then used a BFH to pound them in. Worked like a charm. Hope that makes sense.

LOL. Makes perfect sence.
After stripping two lug nuts and wrestling with the thing for an hour,
I sure enough had the gumption to beat something.
However the TF instal vid advises against the hammer technique.
Any other options. Local Desert Rat shop said I need to schedule it for after Xmas.
I dont think so.
HAMMER TIME is sounding pretty darn good
