Thumbs up TeraFlex Speed Bumps

Picked up a set of TeraFlex Speed Bumps and got the rear set installed before we hit the Rubicon last month. Unlike the rears which can be installed in minutes, the front require a bit more work and so I'll have to get to them as soon as I can find more time. Anyway, I had been meaning to post up some pics of these and well, here's they are....

After giving them a good hard test in a loaded up JK on the Rubicon, I have to say that I'm really happy with the way these things performed. I'll be sure to add pics of the front set as soon as I get them in.

Disclaimer: these are an awesome product...

However

Is it me or are these sort of overkill? Unless you plan on doing desert racing, is there another reason to spend $800 on bumpstops? just curious...

A.) They are given to you as free advertisement. Deep discounting works as well.

B.) You have some money burning a whole in your pocket and have done everything else necessary to your Jeep.

These can help prevent a hard bottoming out. Also TeraFlex has found that the front axle can deflect (bend) when the JK bottoms out on the bumpstops.

You evidently haven't been racing through Arches National Park with wayoflife.....I would have killed to have a set of these. I think my ass still hurts a year later from that run in the sand....these would have helped tremendously.

We found this on a JK Rubi front 44. The 30's a thinner.
