Teraflex 4" LCG Long Arm System build
The day has finally come for me to shrug off the BB, which has outlived its usefulness. I wish I could say I was the one building it, but I have no idea how to weld, and I didn't think this would be the best project to start out on. The bad part, I'm in a Ford Focus. I'll post as we go. It also includes the driveshafts front and rear, which I could have done, but they're there, what the hell. Gives me more time to pick up extra shifts to work it off!! Damn those axles are dirty!!

Hey Ryan, thanks for the posts. Hello J. Thanks for dropping in. The lift just looking at it on the ground is sweet! They're definitely taking a different approach than the Youtube videos put out on this lift by Teraflex (banged a few things here and there on the Desolation trails....it was easier just to take the entire axles out). Great videos btw. Damn near have them memorized!
I've got the 35" Nitto Grapplers on the Raceline Monsters. I guess I could go to 37"'s, but I'm still on the 4.11's. It's very slow out of the hole as is. Once I upgrade to 5.13's, then I may make a move up. Wife is already bitchin' about how big it is now. Not that I'm henpecked, but pennies in Heaven and all that crap!
What's the advantage to painting the axles? They've got the OEM paint on there, they're just really really muddy. If there is something I should be doing, let me know. Now's the time. I certainly don't have this stuff all figured out.
For some reason the pictures of my buddy Dave welding wouldn't d/l. This guy is not only a great mechanic, but he the shop's fabricator as well. The man is a magician with metal.

I was saying to clean them up a bit and paint them simply because they are off the vehicle, and it would be an easy task. It really isn't necessary but would look nice, and help with rust and corrosion down the road.
